The Centennial Cafe in Max opened with a new manager this winter. Kristin Splichal is the new owner. Starting May 1, 2008 the hours will be 6 a.m. to 10 pm Sunday through Saturday. There is a salad bar available and specials each day. They also make a "Farmer's Special", which could also be called a "Hunter's Special", "Fisherman's Special" etc. This is a take-out meal that is ready when you are.

The new decor is 'sunshiney" and the new floor adapts to the new homey look the interior has. Come ready to copy recipes as there are many on the walls! Just come and enjoy the food, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff.
You may call in an order and pick it up for take-out. Tuesday is Knoephla soup day. We also now serve pizzas for take-out or eat-in. There are 14 toppings from which to choose.
Out of town customers have said they'll drive the distance for the wonderful food!
