Linda Haynes’ brother’s funeral was Friday in Wishek, North Dakota. Those from the area going down on Thursday were Linda and Duwayne Haynes; Kristin Splichal from Garrison; and Brenda Henne from Max. Delmar Diegel is Brenda and Kristin’s uncle. They all returned home on Saturday morning. We extend our sincere sympathy to the family. Delmar had survived a recent major surgery but complications set in just a few days before he was to go home. Todd and Kim Erickson of Kenmare, Luke Felt of Williston, and Lila Fannik were dinner guests of Annie Rovenko in her home on Saturday. Later they all drove to Bismarck to attend the Steer Convention and banquet. The speaker was Reese Kauffman, National President of Child Evangelism Fellowship, of Warrenton, Missouri. Annie and Lila returned home with Morris and Linda Erickson of Bowbells. “Conscience is God’s presence in man.” Emanuel Swedenborg
