The Max Baptist Church Singspiration held Sunday afternoon was well attended. There was a great variety of songs with musical instruments which everyone enjoyed. Many thanks to all who participated and helped in any way. Special thanks to Pastor Doug and Arlyce Sathren of Underwood for leading the service.

This coming Sunday, November 14 th, is the beginning of Library Week in Max. Their craft fair will be held from 9:30 until 2:30 that day, with many vendors taking part.

Then on Monday evening, at 7:00 Terri Voeller from Lowes Gardens will be helping everyone with a project. Please bring an 8 inch pillar candle for her project.

Tuesday evening at 7:00 Rita Skraba will be helping people with scrapbooking. If you do not have any supplies, she will provide you with what you need, for a cost of $5.00.

Thursday evening at 7:00 Rena Rustad will be doing a new stamping project with everyone. The fee for this is $3.00 and you must notify the library by the 16 th, if you will be taking part in Rena’s class.

The monthly Centennial Planning Meeting will still be held on Monday evening, November 15 th. at 7:30 but will be held at the Fire Hall.

Thursday, November 18 th, at 10:30 is the Library’s Preschool Story Hour.

Saturday, November 27 th is the City’s Centennial Celebration Kickoff Fundraiser. The chili feed begins at 5:30; bingo from 7 to 9 P.M.; dart tourney at 9 P.M. Tickets to this event are $10.00 which gives you a chance at a raffle drawing every third Monday, until November 2005. Otherwise you may pay $5.00 at the door for the chili and evening, but you will not have a chance at any of the raffle drawings.
