Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This Saturday starting at 5:30 at the Max Civic Center is the Centennial Celebration Kickoff fundraiser…..with a lot of fun being raised! The chili feed begins at 5:30; bingo is from 7 to 9; and the dart tourney will begin at 9 P.M. Those under the age of 21 may come for the chili feed and the bingo. $10.00 raffle tickets are being sold around town and this ticket not only gets you in the door, but also keeps your name in a drawing for cash that will be held every third Monday, until November of 2005. You may buy a $5.00 ticket at the door to get in the door but this ticket does not include your name in the drawings. Centennial shirts and Afghans will be on hand during this event too.

Sunday, December 5 th, there will be a special mass celebrated at 11:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Max to commemorate 50 years since the present church building was built. A program and dinner will follow. The public is invited.
