The David Garners attended a Community Baby Shower held in Bismarck for Chloe Elizabeth Sandland this week-end. Chloe is firstborn to Micheal and Christine Sandland, Selfridge and granddaughter of David and Tammy Garner, Max. She was born October 7 th, and weighed 8# 1 oz. and was 21” long. She represents the fifth generation in her family with Arnold and Donna Osadchy of Max, her Great-Grandparents and Hulda Bauer of Garrison, her Great-Great-Grandmother. We’re all so happy she’s here. Congratulations to all the families.

The King of Kings invites you to His birthday party at the Max Baptist Church on Monday, December 6 th, at 3:30. Bring canned goods for the Horn of Plenty.

Unique Treasures in Max will be open on Sundays during the month of December. Support our local businesses. A lot of Christmas gifts available in this shop. Week-day hours are Thursdays through Saturday from 10 until 8 P.M.

Have you seen the two beautiful signs/bulletin boards built by Donald Olson that are now up by our City Auditor’s office and by the Library?

A set of hand embroidered dishtowels was donated to the Civic Center’s kitchen but we don’t know who to thank! So whoever you are that did the beautiful work, thank you!

This Sunday is the 50 th anniversary of the Catholic Church building in Max. Special services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M.
