Max News 12-6-04 This Friday, December 10th at 7:30 is the school Christmas program for all grades from Kindergarden through 12th. The next morning starting at 9:30, December 11th, breakfast will be served for Santa Day in Max. Santa will arrive! There will be sleigh or wagon rides provided by Gasmann. The Max 2006 Centennial promotional items will also be available. Adult Volleyball games are being played at the school gym on Sunday evenings from 7:00 to 10:00. The public is invited to come play. Per person fee is $1.00. Contact Gary Narum at 529-4822 or Brenda Henne at 679-2415 if you have any questions. Monday evening, December 13th., the regular meeting of Civic Club will be held at 7:30. Another 50/50 drawing will be held at this time. This past Sunday’s celebration at the Max Catholic Church was a great success and well attended. Besides celebrating 50 years for the church building, Father Francis’s 40th birthday was also celebrated with a presentation of a handmade quilt, made by two ladies in the church. Did you catch Monday, December 6th, 6 o’clock news on Channel #13 where the “2004 Holiday Greetings” featured Bob and Ann Kabanuck, wishing all relatives and friends in Max, North Dakota a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Bob stated they are at Dakota Air Base in Japan. Put a smile on your face by driving around in Max to look at all the beautiful decorations the residents have put up.
