Ethel Boettcher spent Mother’s Day week-end in East Grand Forks with her niece, Judy Sannes and family. Her nephew, Jon and Marcia Boettcher, from Sumter, South Carolina flew into Minot and rented a car so they could come down to get their Aunt Ethel. They then all drove to Grand Forks to spend time with Jon and Judy’s Mother, Ruby Boettcher. Gary Hatlestad is having surgery on the 27 th. Faye and Robert will leave on the 28 th to be with him. We hope all goes well for him. More information has been received from Marla Eliason, Medical Missionary to Honduras, living in Garrison. She will be returning to Honduras in July and would like to take with her a good supply of baby/child blankets; onesies or shirts for the babies; booties or socks; bonnets or caps. She prefers not to take sleepers with, as they are too bulky to pack, unless light-weight ones are given to her. Many in the Max area are sewing baby/child blankets already and I have been told of some planning to sew layettes. I am enjoying knitting baby caps for Honduras.
