Max News 6-21-04 Wayne and Tenley Johnson attended their Grandaughter Ezra’s birthday in Minot on Saturday. Ezra is the daughter of Joy and Shawn Keller. Happy Fourth Birthday, Ezra! At the Max Public Library today, Thursday June 24, they will be discovering more about Lewis and Clark. “Where They Went and How They Got there” is the theme and they will be making covered wagons. Kristy Johnson Sinner and Tenley Johnson and Granddaughter Elise traveled to Wisconsin to visit Terry’s parents. Terry is in the Air Force and left the 9 th. of June to serve in Iraq. Next Thursday, July 1, the Max Public Library will be discussing “Animals They Met along the Way”. There will be a ‘special’ snack at this program! There will be some more Lewis and Clark Trivia along with some interesting crafts. There will be a Helping Hands community potluck on July 11 from 11:30 to 1:00 for Carmen Fedorenko to help with her medical expenses. Please remove all flowers from the Max Baptist Cemetery by July 8 th. On July 8 at 7:00 P.M. at the Max City Hall, the Minot State University Rural Crime and Justice Center along with the Max Park Board, will be hosting a Methamphetamine Public Awareness meeting.
