Max has its own speed zone now with the speed limit being reduced to 50 mph on a one-mile stretch by the city. The North Dakota Department of Transportation announced the change Friday. In a news release, NDDOT said ‘Concerns expressed by the Max City Council and the Max School Board prompted a review of the area….concurring that a speed reduction in the area is warranted.’”

November 27 th 2004 starting at 5:30 will be the Centennial Kick-Off Fundraiser. Tickets are $10, with many extras; or $5.00 at the door for the evening.
