Max Library 's Preschool Halloween Party is at 10:30 today, October 27th.

The Max School's Fall Concert is this evening at 7:30 at the school.

The Max Senior Citizen Potluck is Friday, October 28th at 6 p.m.

The annual Civic Club Steak Fry and dance is this Saturday with serving starting at 5 p.m. Ticket proceeds will go to the Max-Garrison Ambulance fund and for Clivic Club projects. Thrivent will match.

 

Monday, October 31st from 3:30-5:00 grades K-6 will be having their Halloween party at the Max Library.

Saturday, November 5th at 2:00 there will a very important alumni meeting at the school. If you, as an alumni, can't attend, send your husband or wife. This meeting is of the upmost importance as alot of it will pertain to Max's upcoming School Reunion/Centennial Celebration.

An informational meeting will be held at the Max Senior Center on November 10th, starting at 1 p.m. Rhonda Goppart will be here to answer all your questions on your Medicare-Part D, on getting assistance on securing prescriptions. Plan to attend.

The Max Library's Annual Flea Market and Book Fair will be held at the Civic Center on Sunday, November 13th. If you need to reserve a table or get more information, please phone the library at 679-2263.

Dwight and DeeOn Mack were in Bismarck this past week for a workshop, where they were trained as volunteers for the Senior Health Insurance Counselor Program.

Dawn, Samantha, DeeAnna and Stephanie Ziegler from Hazen were here to visit the Mack's on Sunday and to attend the Fall Festival at Immaculate Conception Church in Max.

The big winner drawn at this Fall Festival was Ethel Jacobson, winning the handmade quilt. Congratulations, Ethel. She loves it and is so happy to have won it.

Other winners were Gayle Okins, the baby quilt; Janice Kersten, the Centennial t-shirt; and Mary Snyder won the $25. gift certificate to the Centennial Cafe in Max.

Nellie Edwards, Mother of Eight, gift sets went to Tammy Garner, Irene Srb, and Dori Wilcox. The Mary Kay gift basket was won by Dave Garner and Nicole McElwain won the door prize.
