The community is saddened and hurting for Francis (Bibs) Krebsbach in the loss of his son, David. You are in all our thoughts and prayers, Bibs.

Reminders, again! No information has been received as to why our Legion Post number was changed from 67 to Post 241. Histories and more histories are wanted. The Max Centennial History book is a separate book from the Max Alumni book this time. So even if you didn't graduate from Max High School but would like to know about and add to the history of Max, get your family and/or business history in. Contact Dellora Schmidt at 679-2422 or e-mail your history directly to eschmidt@restel.net.

If you have any pictures for the Alumni book, please mail them to Colleen Jungling Johnson at P.O. 238, Max. She will return them to you.

The first of the deadlines arrives the end of December when the Library will begin to put their Centennial Recipe Book together for you to enjoy and give as gifts. Will your favorite recipes be in it? Contact the Max Library at 679-2263 or you may e-mail your recipes and hints directly to them at maxlib@restel.net. It doesn't get any easier than that! Upcoming events in the community for the remaining days before Christmas are the Max School Christmas Program at 7:30 tonight, Thursday; followed by the last Centennial Planning meeting for this year on Monday, 19th. at 7:30.

As another year comes to a close, many former Max residents don't call Max their present home anymore. Olga Henne and Mona Berke live at the Dakota Terrace Apartments at 3120 Seventh Street S.W. in Minot, 58701. Frieda McElwain and Ella Whiting live at Somerset Court at 1900 28th. Street S.W. in Minot, 58701.

Brentmoor of Minot is home now for George Huettl. George loves visitors, if you can find him as he is very busy taking part in the activities there! George's address is 3515 Tenth Street S.W., Minot. Esther Kabanuck resides at Trinity Nursing Home at 305 Eighth Avenue N.E., Minot, 58703. Notice that the zip code for Minot changes for areas located north of Central Avenue.

Those having their own apartments in Minot are JoNell Samson, Lenore Huettl and Martha Rovenko. Dan Flath also lives in Minot.

In Garrison you will find Gene Zenz, Helen Jacobson, Dick Kostenko, and Erna Hauf calling the Benedictine Living Center home. Their address is P.O. Box #219, Garrison, 58540.
