Elaine Kohler's family enjoyed being together at the Max Senior Center for Christmas Day. Those from Max attending were Elaine, Marian and Rick Schmaltz and their children Becky and Jacob; John and Darla and their girls Katie and Jackie. Tom and Lena Volchenko their their children Dan and Tim came from Butte while Tom and Lauri and their children Chase, Cammi, and Charli came from Benedict. Joel and Lisa and their children Anthony and Makayla came from Mandan. The families invited Ethel Boettcher to join them. Ethel isn't feeling well so Darla took a plate of food up to her at home.

By becoming a member of the Max Senior Center, you are also entitled to use the Senior Center for family events. A lot of perks for you as a member, but also a better rating for the Max Senior Center, thus enabling them to receive the extra funds needed to keep up on the building's needs and utilities paid. Adult basketball on Wednesday evenings and volleyball on Sunday evenings at the Max Public School. These are open to the public.
