Many brought birthday wishes to Frances Spitanik last Tuesday at her home. Many more Happy Birthdays, Frances.

This coming Friday, February 11 th, the Max Senior Citizens will be having their monthly noon potluck with the meeting to follow.

The girls’ basketball district tournament starts Friday in Garrison.

Sunday, February 13 th, the Max fire fighters will be having a pancake breakfast from 9 until 1 to raise funds for purchasing the fireworks that will be displayed during the Max Centennial Celebration in 2006.

Civic Club is at 7:30 Monday night, February 14 th. Happy Valentine’s Day!

Sunday, February 20 th, the Meals on Wheels program is having a pancake breakfast at the Civic Center in Max from 9 until 1 to raise funds to keep the program in operation.

Following this breakfast the first Centennial Planning meeting of 2005 will be held at 2:00.

The next Sunday, February 27 th, the Max Senior Citizens are sponsoring a fun afternoon at the Senior Center from 2 until 5. The free-will offering taken here is to help keep the Max Center open. Prizes will be awarded to winners of the many various games. Please note the correct time is 2 until 5.

The Centennial Promotions Committee had another meeting and more souvenir items will be arriving. Centennial souvenirs will be available at the Sunday fund raising breakfasts this month.
