July 18th. is this coming Monday and a combination Alumni/Centennial meeting will be held at the hall at 7:30.

Vi Kostenko and Marian Schmidt rode with Don and Carolyn Nett to Craig, Colorado for Darlene's daughter's wedding. Stephanie was married July 2nd.

Fewer than a dozen people attended Monday night's Civic Club meeting. Fundraisers were discussed as the Monthly Calendar that is mailed out to everyone is in dire need of funds to keep it going. One way to help make more funds available is to have more people join Civic Club. As with any group there will be some 'helping' but it is outweighed by all the fun doing it!! Contact Susan Halverson at Bremer Bank in Max if you would like to join or renew your membership.

There will be a Grandparents Day Breakfast served on Sunday, September 11th. This will be sponsored by the Civic Club. Grandchildren, this is the time to take your Grandparents out for breakfast! A free will offering will be received. Watch for more on this later.

The Civic Club Steak Fry will be held October 29th., with a silent auction of new items; a dance band; raffles; good food; and again, more fun!

A son was born to Jessica Bahm and Marlo Zaderaka of Bismarck on July 9th. Dylan Levi weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 20 inches long, with alot of very dark hair. Grandparents are William and Janet Bahm of Almont and Eugene and Margaret Zaderaka of Max. Great Grandmother is Tillie Bahm, also of Almont. Dylan has a sister, Zoe, who is thrilled to have a baby brother! Congratulations!

This Friday, July 16th the Max Youth Center will be open from 8-12 P.M.
