Darren, Tonya, Erin and Joshua Mack came for the Labor Day week-end to visit Grandpa and Grandma Mack. Dawn Mack Ziegler came to visit on Friday, while DeWitt, Shaylynn and Casey Mack came to visit on Sunday. It was a busy week-end at DeeOn and Dwight Mack's home.

Margaret and Gene Zaderaka enjoyed spending Sunday afternoon and evening at Dean, Heidi, and Hannah's cabin at Lake Metigoshie. Lots of good food, fun, and adventures riding the jet ski!

Unfortunately, life isn't all happy and carefree. Several in our area are in need of our prayers, cards, and love.

Leland Vitko, a graduate of Max High School, was rushed to St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck where he had open heart surgery, a stroke, and has staph infection. Leland is in Intensive Care. Leland's Father, Sam Vitko, passed away just a short time ago. Leland's Mother, Olivia, is by his bedside. Olivia, too, could use our encouragement. The address to reach either would be Leland Vitko/Olivia Vitko; St. Alexius Medical Center; 900 East Broadway; Bismarck, N.D. 58501.

And 99 year old Bill Poleshuk, formerly of Douglas and Max, is now in a Nursing Home in Monticello, MN, 20 minutes away from his home. His wife, Margaret, and their daughter, Marcee are by his bedside. These ladies also need our encouragement. Their home address is: Margaret Poleshuk or Marcee Thompson (Jon); #15383 County Road #30; Elk River, MN 55330.
