We extend our sincere sympathy to the family and friends of Esther Kabanuck. Esther passed away in the Trinity Nursing Home in Minot.
Dan Flath entered the Souris Valley Care Center in Velva on Friday, December 8th. For anyone who would like to send him Christmas greetings, his address is: 300 Main Street South; Velva, ND 58790-9443. Dan has been living with his daughter, Linda, and her family for the past six years. This is a very sad time for Linda so let's remember her too.
The recent Santa Day in Max was very well attended with approximately 150 having breakfast with Santa!
If you have driven around in Max, you will have seen a good 20-some homes decorated for the Christmas season. Take time to enjoy them.
And with Christmas gifts on our minds, don't forget about the Max Library Centennial Cookbooks that are still available at the Library; at Karen's Hair Magic; and at Cenex in Max. There are still Max History books available at the Schmidt Museum and some souvenirs also available. The Librarian has access to the souvenir storage closet so you may immediately make your purchase.
Tonight, Thursday, at the Max Public School, the Christmas Concert will be held at 7:30.
