Max News 1-23-05 The Dr. Pepper can is on the ice again!! The contest is ready to begin. Thanks to Harold Rasmusson, manager of the Max Farmer's Elevator, for allowing some of his employees, Randy Wagner, Chris Krebsbach and Lorell Johnson to take time to help out and for the use of the payloader to help set the can up. Tickets will be available soon. February first is Wednesday and it is also the official deadline for all histories to be in. Many have picked up the "100 Year Farm" guideline from the bank in Max. If you live on a Centennial Farm, please contact Nancy Gullickson at 679-2625 and leave a message. A Centennial Farm is one that has been in the same family for 100 years and still has a family member living on it. Even if you didn't get a history written for your Centennial Farm, they would still like to make mention of it in the history book, so please call Nancy.
