The Max Library will be starting new hours on Monday, February 27 th. They will be open Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 10:30 to 12:30 and in the afternoons from 1:30 until 5:30. Several people have started coming to the Civic Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 until 6 P.M. to walk and/or dance. Join in these forms of exercise. Everyone is welcome. The big white house with blue trim, called the Monson house by some, burned down on Friday. It was located on a hill just east of Max. Christian Johnson of Max has a recycling project going. There is a list of items he will recycle for you, at the bank in Max. For more information, please call Christian at 679-2517. Tomorrow, Friday February 10 th is the monthly potluck at noon and the meeting to follow, at the Max Senior Citizen Center. Norval Semchenko will be speaking. Remember to bring any patterns you have for bird houses and/or garden stakes. Max Civic Club is Monday, February 13 th at 7:30. Note the change of February’s Centennial meeting. It will be held on Sunday, February 19 th at 1:30 at the Civic Center. Centennial Celebration time is getting closer!
