We extend our deepest sympathy to Dolores Okins in the loss of her husband, Gayle. Many of you remember Grandma’s Kitchen and Grandpa’s Laundry. Gayle was Grandpa! Gayle’s beautiful woodworking talents are seen throughout Max and especially in the building that once housed Grandma’s Kitchen. His Indian artifacts and beautiful displays of them in that restaurant will remain in our memory for a long time. Gayle will always be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Dolores, and with your family.

Last Friday’s monthly Senior Citizen meeting was well attended with 19 there. The Max Senior Citizens now have 36 members. You may join at any time. And you may then enjoy the Senior Center every day! Their next meeting will be Thursday, April 13 th. at 2:00. Their potluck will be held on another day starting in April. They would like you to bring a baby or graduation picture of yourself to this meeting and a ‘now’ picture will be taken of you. These pictures will then be displayed on a bulletin board during the Max Centennial. Different ideas were presented on how these pictures will be viewed.
