This also applies for anyone wanting to purchase the Max History Book, now costing $25 plus $5 for shipping. Many turned out to help put up the street banners and I'm sure you have seen them by now. Hopefully there will be a picture on the web-site soon for those who aren't in the area nor able to come for the celebration. The patio area is being looked at by a professional to give estimates and there is hopes to have that completed by celebration time too. The Centennial planning meeting was held on Tuesday evening of this week and the Max News goes to the McLean County Independent on Monday evenings so any Centennial News from the meeting will be in next week's Max News. Although it will be on the web-site right away. www.maxnd.com The entertainment this week in Max is watching the pouring of all four bins, at once, at the Max Elevator. This is being done around the clock, lit up like the Fair at night. A beehive of activity all throughout the day and night. They expect to have all four bins poured by the week-end but they won't be completely finished for use until this fall. So even those coming for the Max Centennial will see activity going on there. "Have a blast by while you last." Hollis Stacy
