Just a few of the many coming for the Max Centennial celebration were Dawn, Steve, Samantha, DeeAnna and Stephanie Ziegler from Hazen. Dawn is Dwight and DeeOn Mack's daughter.

Their son, Darren and his wife Tonya, along with their little children Erin and Joshua from Detroit Lakes, MN. were also here.

Their son DeWitt and his wife Pam, children Dwight J, Shaylynn, and Casey from Mandan stopped on their way home from Canada. They all then celebrated Shaylynn's birthday on July 3rd. Shaylynn and Casey stayed with Grandpa and Grandma Mack until the 4th. of July when they all went to Mandan to see the parade there.

And today, July 13th., Dwight and DeeOn are celebrating their 40th. wedding anniversary with a card shower. Congratulations to you both!

We do have a few statistics from the Max Centennial celebration. With hopefully more information about it in the future. There were 98 golfers that took part in the Golf Tournament at the Garrison Golf Course on Friday morning. There were 85 walkers/runners in the Alumni Fun Walk/Run on Saturday morning, prior to the parade. At each of the evening meals, over 500 were served and over 300 viewed the Schmidt Museum. Max had company that week-end!

And the parade - of the 120 entries, there were 33 classic cars and 14 classic tractors.

Come to the final Centennial meeting on Monday night, July 17th. at 7:30 at the Civic Center to hear all the fascinating reports from the celebration.

The weather here this past week-end had temperatures in the high 90's with very high humidity and windy, so we didn't have to look hard to realize how thankful we are that we had our celebration when we did. Ryder had their Centennial during the heat, humidity and wind this past week-end.
