Max News 8-28-06 The community expresses their sincere sympathy to Shirley Jungling and Jerome Finkbeiner in the loss of their brother, Norman Finkbeiner from Michigan. Norman was 70 years old. A memorial service was held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Max on Monday. Civic Club will be having Grandparents Day at the Max Civic Center on Sunday, September 10th from 9 to 1. French toast and ham will be served. A free will offering will be taken. Children are back in school and farmers are busy harvesting - now Labor Day comes - does sound like the summer of 2006 is almost over. And it was a busy one with our Max Centennial. Just think, two months ago we were celebrating in Max! Watch for several days of rummage sales in Max this Labor Day week-end!
