Max News 9-04-06 Everyone enjoyed the Singspiration Sunday night, August 27th, at the Baptist Church. Thanks to Rev. Don Barsness of Garrison and Rev. Jonathan Starks of Ryder for leading the service, in Rev. Alan Hathaway's absence as he was with family in their great loss of their grandson in South Dakota. Also thanks to all who shared their music of song and testimony with us. Lorna Sambor was surprised when we sang Happy Birthday to her and served birthday cake at fellowship time. We appreciate all who attended from seven towns around. Preschool Story Hour will be held at the Max Library on Friday's at 10:30 on these dates: September 15th, October 13th will be a Halloween Party, and also held on December 8th. This Sunday is Grandparents Day. Bring your grandparents to theMax Civic Center for breakfast from 9 - 1. Don't forget to come to Civic Club on Monday, 11th., at 7:30. |
