We extend our sincere sympathy to Rosella Lee in the loss of her daughter Marilyn Lee Larson of Fairfield, MT. Marilyn grew up by Max and graduated from Max High School in 1971. Her parents are the late William Lee and Rosella Lee, formerly of Max but now living in Fairfield, MT.
Marilyn taught school through the spring of 2007.
Your bright orange community calendar came in your mail today. Read it over, back and front. You will notice something new on it - a Creative Movement Dance Class held on Mondays from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and on Wednesdays from 5 to 6 p.m. Ask around to find out more details on it.
Next Monday, the 8th, the Library Story Hour will be held at 10:30 and Civic Club is being held at 7:30 p.m. That week ends with the Senior Citizens having their October potluck and meeting at noon on Friday, the 12th. This is the Senior's winter schedule.
Our Saviors Lutheran church will be having their lutefisk and meatball dinner on Sunday the 14th., with Immaculate Conception Church's soup/sandwich lunch the following Sunday, the 21st.
Then the annual Steak Fry and Dance - being held on October 27th. with serving from 5 to 8, the dance to follow with music by the Nite Owls. The cost is $15.00 per person and only 300 tickets will be sold. You may purchase your tickets at any Max business. The proceeds will go to the Max-Garrison ambulance and Civic Club projects.
More food - Lunch will be served by the Max Senior Citizens on November 18th. during the Max Library's Annual Flea Market, Book Fair, and Vendor Fair. More information on this event and on Library Week later on.
