The Max Seniors' Christmas party this past Sunday was well attended with 38 present. Several more became members for 2007 so now the membership total is up to 26. For those of us who have forgotten to rejoin, we may do so at any time. Dues this year are $10 per person. The potluck meal was wonderful and door prizes were won by 3 men and 3 women. Join now and take advantage of their Meals on Wheels program. You'll be sure to get a well balanced meal at noon on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. These meals can also be delivered to your home. Contact the Senior Center if you'd like to have your meal delivered. There are plenty of activities to enjoy after you have eaten, also. Do you like to put jig saw puzzles together - come to the Senior Center. Do you like to play pool - come to the Senior Center. Do you like to play cards - come to the Senior Center. Maybe you just like to visit - come to the Senior Center. More 'eaters' are needed to keep the Meals on Wheels program active in Max.
The Max Cossack's basketball team was featured on Channel 13 this Monday evening, after winning in an overtime game. Congratulations! All ages attend the games at Max High School so if you are wanting to check on their schedule, there are little cards listing the games, available at various businesses in Max, but you may also check on their schedule by logging onto www.highschoolsports.net . The free monthly calendar of all events in Max is also available at several businesses. You don't want to be without it.
