There was a very good turn-out at the Older Americans' Day event held at the Max Senior Center this past Saturday. The weather was good, although abit windy, for Kyle's Greenhouse to be set up outside with their many beautiful flowering plants and vegetables.
Have you noticed the 'new look' in front of the Senior Center? The bushes have been removed and something else will be done with that area. While you are uptown, take note of the beautiful water fountain that graces the center of the flower bed by the Civic Center. What a gorgeous addition. Many tulips are in bloom on Main Street too. Thankyou to all who planted these and did numerous other jobs to make these changes and beauty possible.
