The Spring Lake Church was crowded with old members and friends who came to celebrate the 100th birthday of the church building on Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007. People came from Colorado, California, Minnesota as well as various places in North Dakota. Perfect weather was enjoyed for the program, which was held in the refurbished church.

Pastor Mark Narum lead the services and gave the message while Wayne Johnson contributed by having scripture reading and prayers and shared a solo. Other friends gave readings and musical selections and Marion Narum lead the service by playing the organ.

The dinner (served outside) was catered by Kyle of Garrison, Carson Sambor, Richard Foss of Douglas and Daryl Simmons of Roseglen.

An anniversary cake with the inscription "Hitherto hath the Lord helped us," Sam. 7:12, was served by former members of the church Isabel Groninger and Betty Berg.
