This coming Sunday evening there will be a Singspiration Service at the Max Baptist Church at 6:00. Simeon and Tammy Waddington and family of rural Douglas will take part in this service. There will be a fellowship time in the church basement following the service. If you have any questions about taking part, bringing food, or anything else, please phone Lila Fannik at 679-2686.

On Friday, March 7th. the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Max will host the World Day of Prayer with a service at 2:00 at their church.

And then on March 10th, the Max Civic Club will be having their annual Membership Night Fish Fry at the Civic Center at 6:30. You may eat all you want, with your paid membership.

Temperatures are warming up so don't forget to purchase your ticket for 3 guesses on the day, hour, and minute the Plunge will take place. The Max Park Board is in charge of this contest, which is sponsored by OtterTail Power and Reservation Telephone Cooperative. This has become an annual event and is becoming known about elsewhere besides locally.
