The Lutheran Women's Missionary League of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Max held their regular business meeting on Saturday, March 1st at the church. Pastor Nelson led the Bible study entitled, "Risky Business". Sandra Hauf was the hostess.
Little Hoppers Daycare is now open 1 mile south of Max. Full and part time openings. The school bus will drop kids off from Max School District. It has a friendly and safe environment and a large play area. There are many activities planned throughout the week. Nutritional menus through Heartland Food Service. Tomorrow, March 7th, the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Max will host the World Day of Prayer with a service at 2:00 at their church.
On Monday, March 10th the Max Civic Club will be having their Annual Membership Fish Fry. This will be held at the Civic Center at 6:30. Join and support your community - and with your membership, you can eat all the fish you want that evening!
Also on Monday, March 10th there will be screening of preschool children at the Max Elementary School from 9:30 to 2:30. The child needs to be 3, 4, or 5 years of age by August 31st., 2007. Call the school at 679-2685 to make an appointment.
At 10:30 a.m. on Monday, March 10th the Max Library will be having their Story Hour.
