Hear the music? It is uptown on Main Street! Let's all thank our 'city man', Robbin Plesuk, for setting up the system to provide music to those on Main Street. You can just drive up there, park, open your windows and enjoy the beautiful music. Thankyou, Robbin!

Tomorrow, April 11th., the Over 55 Club will be having their April business meeting at 2:00. The spring/summer schedule is on now, so the potluck won't be held until the 25th. of April at 6:00. Before that will be the Over 55 Club's french toast and sausage breakfast being held on April 20th., a Sunday. This will be held at the Max Civic Center from 9 until 1 o'clock. A free will offering will be taken, with the proceeds to be used for renovations at the Max Senior Center building. It is subsidized by Thrivent for Lutherans.

But this Sunday, April 13th., Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Max is having their Spring Buffet dinner from 11 to 1:30. All are welcome.

Then the next evening is the Civic Club meeting at 7:30 at the Civic Center.

Did you see the beautiful articles and pictures of Max's new daycare and of Max's new cafe, in last week's McLean County Independent? This Little Hoppers Daycare has full and part time openings yet. Call Jessica Henne at 679-2256 or 661-0240 for more information. She will be open throughout the summer months too.

Be careful! The Max School bus has stopped running within the city of Max. So the children are on foot or on their bikes. Please pay extra attention when driving so these children will be protected from harm.
