City Pleas for Resident Vigilance in Wake of New City Park Vandalism

Max City Park has once again been the target of vandalism.

In early July 2010, the park bathrooms were damaged, requiring significant repairs. The McLean County Sheriff's department has been notified of the incident.

In light of this most recent incident and the history of repeated vandalism at City Park, the Max City Council and Mayor Seklecki are urging residents of Max to keep their eyes open for suspicious activity in the park and to notify the Sheriff's Department at 701-462-8103 immediately if suspicious or blatantly destructive activity is observed.

City Park bathrooms will now be locked at approximately 9:00 pm each evening and reopened in the mornings for public use.
