Donations Needed

The playground equipment in Centennial Park comes as a much-needed addition to downtown Max. Just ask anyone with small children who attends events or does business downtown, or any families or small groups who want to make use of the picnic shelter at the park! In addition, the wonderful esthetic added by a park that is both beautiful and functional creates a bright spot on Main Street.

As with all new projects, funding always seems to be the hard part. The Park Board could use your help in covering the cost of the new equipment. If you can make a monetary donation to the playground fund, please contact the Park Board through the City Auditor's Office. (See various ways you can contact the Auditor's Office by clicking here. For a listing of Park Board members, go to our City Government page.)
