The Max School Library

5/9/2019

The Max School Library has completed the Lobrary Vision 2020 Collection Development Grant awarded in October 2018 by the North Dakota State Library and the North Dakota Library Coordinating Council. Max Public School Library was responsible for matching 10% of the awarded amount of $2000. The funds were used to develop the high school and junior high fiction collection in the school library. Mary Roller, the Library Media Specialist, recieved input from the students, staff, and patrons on bools to add to the current high school and junior high fiction collection. A total of 167 books were  purchased and added to the Max School library database, a partner of the Central Dakota Library Network and have been available to all patrons. Students and patrons have enjoyed having access to the new book selections in house. We greatly appreciated having the opportunity to broaden our collection in our school library.
